It’s that time of the year again when the one and only Barack Obama shares the year-end list of his favorite songs of the year.
The popular former President’s picks usually feature a lot of Hip-Hop and R&B but he does like to mix in a few jams from other genres as well. Among the picks of 2019 are songs from Summer Walker, J. Cole, Frank Ocean, Solange, Wale, Young Thug, Mustard, DaBaby, Koffee, Alicia Keys and more. Even the immensely talented Indian artist Prateek Kuhad caught his ear with his standout song ‘Cold/Mess‘.
“From hip-hop to country to The Boss, here are my songs of the year. If you’re looking for something to keep you company on a long drive or help you turn up a workout, I hope there’s a track or two in here that does the trick,” Obama said.
