Meek Mill is set to make his film debut later this year. The rapper stars in the upcoming film Charm City Kings that debuts April 10th.
In the Angel Manuel Soto film, Meek will plays Blax, the leader of a fearless group of dirt bike riders called Midnight Clique out of Baltimore. Blax takes Mouse, played by Jahi DiāAllo Winston, under his wing, which leads Mouse to a crossroad between the straight and easy lifestyle, or the road of fast money and violence. Charm City Kings also stars Will Catlett, Teyonah Parris, Donielle Tremaine Hansley, and Kezii Curtis. It is produced by Caleeb Pinkett, Clarence Hammond, and Marc Bienstock and executive produced by Jada Pinkett Smith, Will Smith, and James Lassiter of Overbrook Entertainment. It hits select theaters in North America on April 10 followed by a wide release on April 17 after its world premiere at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival.
