Usher and his regular producer Jermaine Dupri have hinted in the past that the singer is working on the sequel to his 2004 Diamond certified album, Confessions.
And it looks like he has a part 3 of his hit song ‘Confessions Pt. 2‘ as well. Usher debuted a new song at the “Live from the Cricket Lounge” event in Los Angeles on Monday but didn’t specifically reveal the title of it.
“Remember that time I was sitting up sick, couldn’t sleep in the middle of the night? / You said, ‘Babe, let me take you to the ER’ / I said, ‘Nah, Ima be alright’ / Well, the next day I found out from f*ckin’ around that the sickness I had was life / And I was fixed to keeping the decision to keep it / Knowing I had to get rid of it,” he sang for the crowd. Later he told them, “you thought what you put on me from Part 2 was the realest shit. You realize what I just told you? You don’t realize it, huh?”

Watch the footage above (spotted at Rap-Up). Jermaine Dupri has also reposted the clip on his Instagram with the caption, “And you thought part 2 was the realest shit ? #Confession3, not his confession, Hers.”
Usher’s latest single ‘Don’t Waste My Time‘ with Ella Mai is slowly but steadily climbing on the charts as we speak. So far, it’s unclear when the new album will arrive but we are surely waiting.
