The joint project between Lil Wayne and Mannie Fresh has been in the making for a long time but looks like it isn’t yet scrapped — thankfully.
Mannie was one of the guests on Lil Wayne’s Young Money Radio show on Apple Music this past Friday where the two talked about their chemistry and the long awaited joint album. Weezy said people keep asking him about it and the veteran producer mentioned that he already has about 7 songs done. Watch their interaction below.
Last year, Mannie said in an interview that the âworld is definitely going to get those records” on a project which is tentatively titled The Fresh Files. In April, he debuted an untitled song from Weezy featuring a sample from Alicia Keysâ song âUnthinkableâ during an Instagram Live session.
