It’s been a little while since we last heard from Ella Mai but today she marks her return with a new single. ‘Not Another Love Song’ sees Ella deliver those perfect harmonies over a smooth beat supplied by Boi-1da, Jahaan Sweet & The Rascals. This is certainly grown folks music and sounding very promising.
There has not been an album announcement yet, but with the release of this new single, the wait will hopefully not be too long. You can hear/preview the single below (currently only available in select international markets) and keep an eye out for releases in the future because in the words of Ella herself, she “is back”.
Ella’s self titled debut album in 2018 spawned two hit singles: ‘Boo’d Up’ and ‘Trip’, and got nominated for Best R&B Album at the 62nd Annual GRAMMY Awards.
