Eminem was parodied by Pete Davidson during last night’s episode of Saturday Night Live.
The actor played a Santa Claus-obsessed fan named Stu. The comedian wore the same clothes and sported bleach blonde hair emulating Devon Sawa, who starred as “Stan” in the iconic music video featuring Dido. Davidson writes letters to Santa, played by SNL host Jason Bateman in the parody, begging him for a PlayStation 5 for Christmas.
“Dear Santa / I can’t believe the year is almost over / It’s getting colder / I’m a year older but I’m still your soldier,” Davidson raps on the track. Kate McKinnon plays Dido singing the chorus, and Bowen Yang joins as Elton John — if you remember, the legendary singer performed the track with Em at the 43rd GRAMMY Awards.
At the end of the video, Eminem himself makes an appearance on the old TV in Stu’s basement, much to the fans’ surprise. Watch it below.
