The Music For The Movement projects have given us a bunch of great music. Earlier this year, Freddie Gibbs covered Gil Scott-Heron’s ‘Winter In America’ for the second volume and this morning, we have a great collaboration from the third volume right in time for Juneteenth.
One of the brightest young prospects Cordae links up with the OG Common for ‘What’s Life’ which you can hear below before it’s out worldwide at midnight EST. Cordae is currently prepping the release of his sophomore album and Common released his A Beautiful Revolution (Pt. 1) project late last year. Also appearing on Music For The Movement Vol. 3 are Lucky Daye, Yara Shahidi, Chloe Bailey and Kamasi Washington.
