Post Malone’s Posty Fest which was scheduled to take place Oct. 30-31, has been canceled.
The event was taking place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas and has been called off just two weeks after initially being announced earlier this month.
“Due to logistical issues impacting the production of the festival, Posty Fest is rescheduling to 2022. Refunds available at point of purchase,” festival organizers Live Nation said in a statement to Rolling Stone. “We can’t wait to make 2022 our biggest year yet. Stay safe everyone, we’ll see you soon.”

No exact reason was provided but Variety‘s sources say the organizers were having a hard time implementing COVID-19 protocols in Texas where cases have been rising rapidly as well. Live Nation’s vaccination or negative test requirement goes into effect on October 5th for all their festivals which includes those in mandate-opposed Texas.
