O Racks brings Midwest flare to the east coast. The Long Island rapper channels the thumping rhythmic bass lines and the menacing piano medleys from Detroit—a scene ready to bust from the seams. O Racks raps without remorse, coldly delivering lines in a searing deadpan. Detroit’s influence this week is prevalent. Ne7hew is cold and calculated, and on “Over Night,” he solidifies the realness in his raps. He delivers his verses devoid of life, as if he’s seen the worst the World has to offer.
