Kanye West’s antisemitic remarks have led to a lot of brand parting way with him in the past few weeks. Most notably, earlier in the week, Adidas terminated their partnership with the rapper, causing him to lose his reported $1.5 billion net worth.
It’s been reported since that Adidas plans to continue selling YEEZYs under a different name, since they have rights to the models. However, it looks like Ye plans to continue making sneakers with another company and is shopping for a new home.
TMZ reports that earlier today, Ye showed up uninvited and unscheduled to the Skechers headquarters in Manhattan Beach, California, with an unauthorised filming crew. There was a brief conversation before Kanye and his party were escorted away from the building.
To make matters worse, a spokesperson told TMZ that the brand has no intention of working with Ye. “Skechers is not considering and has no intention of working with West. We condemn his recent divisive remarks and do not tolerate antisemitism or any other form of hate speech. Again, West showed up unannounced and uninvited to Skechers corporate offices” they said.
