Killer Mike has been busy with his very successful Run The Jewels band with El-P over the past decade but looks like he’s ready to roll again solo.
The Atlanta veteran has been pretty active during SXSW in Austin where he performed at a small venue curated by SPIN and also held a listening session for his forthcoming album titled Michael, his first solo release since 2012’s R.A.P. Music.
According to a report from Spin, he performed songs from his past catalog but also debuted two tracks for the first time — ‘Shed Tears’ and ‘High + Holy’. Additionally, during a listening session for the album, he revealed that folks like Andre 3000, Lil Wayne and good friend Dave Chappelle are featured on the project, as per Kenny Perez from Radio Milwaukee.

That is already a very exciting guest lineup. The release date for the album is not known yet but we will report back once that has been confirmed.
