A couple of major labels released this Friday: TWICE’s Ready to Be and Miley Cyrus’ Endless Summer Vacation.
The K-Pop girl group’s seven song set Ready to Be is projected to move 140-160k copies in the first week and it’s no surprise that a bulk of that comes from pure sales including retail and D2C. It won’t be enough to debut at the number 1 spot as that is expected to be occupied by Morgan Wallen’s big album One Thing At A Time.
The K-pop group’s last mini-album, Between 1&2 remained on the Billboard 200 for eight weeks and peaked at No. 3. TWICE was honored with the Breakthrough Award at Billboard’s Women in Music event recently held on March 1.
Pop star Miley Cyrus’ latest album Endless Summer Vacation is projected to move 115-130k copies in the first seven days and looking at a top 3 debut on the Billboard 200 chart. The project features 13 songs with features from Brandi Carlile and Sia.
