UPDATE: The final numbers are in. Drake sold 410,500 copies of the album first week.
Previous story:
Drake released his latest album For All The Dogs on Friday at 6 am, a few hours after the usual midnight release date at DSPs.
The album features guest appearances from 21 Savage, J. Cole, Yeat, PARTYNEXTDOOR, SZA, Sexyy Red and more. Today, we have the first week sales projections for the project, which follows 2022’s Honestly, Nevermind.
HDD reports that For All The Dogs is expected to move 400-450k copies in the first week which will give it a clear spot at the number 1 position on Billboard 200 next week.
While Honestly, Nevermind moved 204k copies because of a slightly experimental sound, the one before that, Certified Lover Boy, had sold 613k in the first week back in 2021.
