Previous story:
J. Cole surprised music fans when he dropped his new album Might Delete Later this past Friday out of nowhere.
The 12 song album has Limited features from Cam’ron, Ari Lennox, Bas and Ab-Soul. Of course, the song which is being talked about the most is ‘7 Minute Drill‘ where the rapper seems to have taken shorts at Kendrick Lamar. Among other things, he calls his second album To Pimp A Butterfly boring and said he is not consistent enough to go against him.
The album is also start of a new chapter business wise for Cole as he now seems to have a fresh license deal directly with Interscope Records. Today, we have the first week projections for the album. HHD reports that Cole’s latest effort will move 140-160k copies in the first week which will make it the highest debut on the chart next week.
