Lil Wayne has officially announced that Hot Boys will be reuniting at this year’s Lil WeezyAna Fest.
Wayne will make his comeback alongside fellow Hot Boys members Juvenile, B.G., and Turk during the event, which is produced by Young Money, Dmani, and Live Nation Urban. Rob49 and Mannie Fresh will also be performing. More acts are set to be announced in the coming weeks.
Hot Boys were expected to come together at this year’s Essence fest back in July but Wayne opted to not perform with his band mates and instead had his own Young Money themed set.
Juvenile had recently claimed that a Hot Boys reunion album was in the works, while Birdman said that he was hoping the group comes back together soon. But it’s finally official at this year’s Lil WeezyAna Fest which makes us believe that Wayne was trying to save the best for his own property.
“Lil Wayne embodies the spirit of New Orleans, and Lil’ WeezyAna Fest is a stellar showcase of the city’s dynamic and flourishing music scene,” says Brandon Pankey, vp of business development and operations Live Nation Urban. “Live Nation Urban celebrates this amazing event and is proud to continue to partner and cultivate the growth of this festival for years to come.”
