As it turns out, Joey Bada$$ wasn’t going to wait longer either, and has replied in his own fashion over his new song, ‘THE FINALS.’
A punchline fest from start to finish, the track makes clever use of wordplays on ‘ray’ and ‘light’ to tackle two foes in one song. While Joey went in on dissing Ray Vaughn, he made sure to involve Daylyt subliminally in the conversation and even ending the track with a word to Kendrick Lamar himself.
