Russ, who is in the process of slowly releasing his upcoming album W!LD, has just released a new song — and it’s crazy. No, literally; the track is called ‘Crazy’ and uniquely captures Russ’s mind state heading into album season.
Russ even got on TikTok to record a hilarious promo for the single, where he could be seen in front of his Spotify Playlist Pitch, rambling about how it’s a “summer track for the baddies and dudes who love gift giving but only when it comes to the women we love.”
He also posted a screenshot of the pitch up on Instagram. Well, now we know what part of it was jest, and what wasn’t.

The track comes in hot in the middle of yet another mini controversy, as Russ was recently found tweeting about visible Spotify stats for artists.
Russ emphasized how music conversations must be bigger than numbers alone, and that the numbers are made public to promote a sense of competition (when really, they’re only the artists’ personal business).
