We’ve heard the East and we’ve been hearing the West. But as usual, the South got some to say. With a pure showcase of Rap ability as deadly lyricists, JID and Offset have teamed up for their latest collaboration ‘Bodies.’
With J.I.D in the middle of his album rollout for God Does Like Ugly, it is no surprise that he has shown up in peak form. At the same time, it is clear that the track is merely a warm up for him (even though it is a track that would make a lot of rappers sweat!)
Often evading the question of beefs, J.I.D is well known for his focus on ‘show don’t tell’ when it comes to arguing the best rappers in the game today. Once again, he has solidified his name in discussions, with a glaring declaration on the hook of the song. It echoes, “let the bodies hit the floor,” imbibed with a kick of adrenaline.
Offset, too, showed up with his signature flow and delivered a smooth contrast to JID’s jittery flow by crafting his own in a relaxed swagger. Check it out below!
