2026 is off to a good start, with a new Kendrick Lamar snippet surfacing. Just weeks back, the rapper was heard saying that he “got one,” raising speculation around new music that may be dropping soon. The speculations only grew stronger with news of Drake‘s project being on the horizon.
Now, it seems as though new Kendrick music may really be on the way, as Sounwave & Jack Antonoff have decided to let the fans take a sneak peek into a session.
In the video posted on Instagram, the two were seen in what seems like a mixing/ mastering session, where Kendrick’s vocals can briefly be heard. (Swipe to the fourth slide!)

Now, whether or not the song heard in the snippet is really due for release is something entirely up to Kendrick. But of course, the rapper has been rather elusive and silent on the matter. It could mean nothing, or it could be the calm before the storm. What do you think?
