Gucci Mane Allegedly Robbed & kidnapped in Dallas by Pooh Shiesty & Big30; Arrested by FBI

Gucci Mane, whose real name is Radric Delantic Davis, was allegedly robbed and kidnapped by Pooh Shiesty and Big30 in Dallas, according to the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), reports wfaa.

Nine individuals, including the aforementioned rappers, abducted and robbed multiple victims at a Dallas music studio, according to the DOJ. The DOJ reports that eight of the nine individuals were taken into custody on Wednesday in Nashville, Memphis, and Dallas.

TMZ reports that Pooh Shiesty, real name Lontrell D. Williams Jr., was arrested Wednesday and booked in connection to a federal criminal case. Shiesty’s father, Lontrell Williams Sr., was also arrested in Memphis, Tennessee.

According to a DOJ complait, three people from the music industry travelled to Dallas for a meeting on January 10. According to the DOJ, Pooh Shiesty, whose true name is Lontrell Denell Williams Jr., set up the meeting to “discuss the terms of his recording contract with one of the victims.” Before having run-ins with the law, Pooh Shiesty joined to Gucci Mane’s 1017 label and became well-known for tracks like ‘Back in Blood‘.

Williams Jr. and his eight accomplices, some of whom came from Memphis, “executed an armed takeover.” While the three men were in the music studio, Williams Jr., according to the DOJ, “forced one of the victims to sign a release from the recording contract at gunpoint” after drawing an AK-style handgun. The remaining co-conspirators also pulled out guns and robbed the other victims of items such as Rolex watches, jewelry and cash.

Williams Jr. entered a guilty plea to conspiring to possess firearms in furtherance of violent crimes and drug trafficking, and he was released from prison in October 2025 after spending three years for a gun charge in Miami, Florida. At the time of this January robbery and kidnapping, Williams Jr. was on home detention, where the conditions were that he would not conduct another felony or possess a firearm.
