What happens when a new age Atlanta rapper gets to work with a veteran from the same scene? The quintessential sound of Atlanta comes through in a powerful, time and generation defying manner.
That is exactly what has happened with T.I. and Quavo joining forces on their latest collaboration ‘Backwards,’ which is finally out for streaming. The two are some of the most legendary southern rappers, somewhat from different eras, coming together in a manner that screams mutual respect.
What makes things better is the fact that this is a Pharrell production as well, who will be producing Quavo’s upcoming album QRÖMELIFE in its entirety.
T.I., too, is fresh off his time rapping like an absolute pro on his latest album Kill The King, and you can see the pen isn’t rusty at all. That’s the same energy he’s got on ‘Backwards,’ — check it out below!
