Veteran R&B group Jagged Edge have announced the release of the sequel to their 2000, double platinum album J.E. Heartbreak. So So Def Recordings and Hard Case Records has announced a new deal with BMG Primary Wave Artists Services to release the multi-platinum-selling group’s 8th studio album titled J.E. Heartbreak too.
Bryan Michael Cox has co-written and produced the first single ‘Hope’ which debuts on May 30th while Jermaine Dupri will serve as the executive producer of the album.
Says JD:
âMaking a sequel to a classic album is difficult. We donât want to stray from the blueprint of the first album. Itâs definitely a challenge, but the fans wonât be disappointed.â
