It’s been just a few months since Beanie Sigel came back from a prison stint but he’s met some bad luck today. The rapper was shot at Friday morning following a shooting in Pleasantville, South Jersey where he and another man was injured.
The shooting happened around 9:30 a.m. along the 800 block of Spruce Avenue in Pleasantville after which he was shifted to AtlanticCare Regional Medical Center for surgery and treatment. The exact reason for the altercation is not unknown at this time. Watch a video from the crime scene below.
UPDATE: NBC Philly is reporting that Beanie is in critical condition after the shooting and has been unable to talk with investigators. Unidentified assailants opened fire on him near his house after he had just dropped his kids off at school. Police believe the shooting took place after an argument outside the home.
UPDATE 2: Beanie Sigel was thankfully discharged from hospital today.
