A couple of days ago, T.I. aka Tip kicked off a storm when he remarked that he wasn’t ready to vote for a Woman president because they make “rash decisions”.
He was talking in context of Hillary Clinton running to become the 45th President of the United States. His comments came on DJ Whoo Kid’s Whoolywood Shuffle show on Sirius and those who are familiar with the show, know that most of the times, it’s just jokes and casual talk that goes on there. However, Tip was a little reckless in his talk which resulted in a controversy.
“Not to be sexist but, I can’t vote for the leader of the free world to be a woman. Just because, every other position that exists, I think a woman could do well. But the president? It’s kinda like, I just know that women make rash decisions emotionally – they make very permanent, cemented decisions – and then later, it’s kind of like it didn’t happen, or they didn’t mean for it to happen.”
He has now issued a video message for everybody where he explains his position and issues an apology for his comments. Watch both the interview and his message below.
