Faith Evans first mentioned a collaborative album with Notorious B.I.G. over 2 years ago but looks like things are finally moving now.
The widow of Biggie Smalls phoned into Dame Dash’s radio show on Dash Radio and confirmed that she’s currently recording the duets album called King And I with the late rapper which is nearing the final stages. Biggie’s last posthumous album Born Again was released in 1999, two years after his death. It was followed by Duets: The Final Chapter in 2005 which was basically a Bad Boys Records project of various Biggie collaborations with artists like Diddy, Eminem, Jay Z, Nas, T.I. and more.
“If he was alive, I know ultimately we would have done something like this. But the way this stuff is coming together and the way I’m using his vocals, it’s giving this stuff new life. I think people are really going to enjoy it,” said Faith.
The singer also mentioned that a Biggie Hologram was in the works which could be used for music videos for the project. The first single will be out by Summer while the album is currently planned for an early September release. This could be something

UPDATE: In a new interview with Hot 97, Diddy confirms (at 9:30 mark) that he has contributed a few songs to the project.
