J. Dilla fans are definitely in for a treat this year. Apart from the all-new album The Diary which comes out April 15th, Maureen “Ma Dukes” Yancey and Dillatronic will also be re-releasing his 2007 album Jay Love Japan with bonus tracks.
There was a lot of confusion around the release of the album back then, with Fat Beats being in the middle of the controversy for selling an official copy of the album which was not cleared yet. The album went out of print shortly after so Dillatronic is now re-issuing it with some bonus tracks including ‘Sun In My Face’ featuring Blu and Miguel who used to rap back then.
