Beyonce has done it again. The singer debuted her film LEMONADE on HBO as promised on Saturday and then surprised the whole world with a new album of the same name, featuring appearances from Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd, Jack White and James Blake.
The album was exclusively released on her husband’s streaming service TIDAL before also debuting at iTunes and Amazon for sale early hours of Monday, April 25th. The word is that TIDAL will continue to have the exclusive window in term of streaming. It is still not available to Spotify users while the physical edition of the project is expected to hit stores on May 6th.
According to HDD, early projections are that the album will do between 500-600k copies in the first week, assuring her Gold status. It should be able to hit the #1 spot on Billboard next week unless the surge for Prince’s The Very Best of Prince goes sky rocketing. Prince’s set is currently on top of the charts after it moved 179k copies in just about 12 hours.

UPDATE: It is now confirmed that the CD/DVD pack of the album will release on May 6. Amazon and Target have confirmed they will be carrying the product.
