John Legend is back. The singer-songwriter is working on his new album, the follow up to 2013’s Love in the Future, which featured the number 1 smash ‘All of Me’.
Today, we have the first official single ‘Love Me Now’ before it goes to all digital retailers on Friday, September 7. The talented artist sticks to his usual script of making love songs but chooses a more upbeat feel this time and we’re certainly digging it.
The artwork is an intimate shot of the singer and his supermodel wife Chrissy Teigen. Listen to ‘Love Me Now’ below. The song will go for radio adds early next week.

UPDATE 2: Last night during a live Facebook session with fans, John revealed that his new album is titled Darkness & Light. He also mentioned that Chance The Rapper, instrumentalist Blake Mills, Brittany Howard from Alabama Shakes, Miguel and more will appear on the album.
