Nicki Minaj is everywhere right now. She has three of her own singles in rotation and after an appearance on Jason Deruo’s new single ‘Swalla‘, she’s back today with another guest feature on David Guetta’s new single ‘Light My Body Up’.
After several teasers, the French DJ reconnects with his ‘Turn Me On’, ‘Where Them Girls At’ and ‘Hey Mama’ collaborator on the trap-EDM song which is out via a lyric video. Nicki mostly sings on the record but she does drop a few bars which can be easily interpreted as shots towards Remy Ma. “Got bars for years, I hope you send me a letter / Know she’ll never be queen, so now she got a vendetta / I ain’t talkin’ ’bout David, when I say I’ma Guetta,” raps the Young Money artist.
Lil Wayne does his usual thing on the auto-tune heavy verse with lines such as “Keep it tight-tight / Take this D, go night-night / Go so far downtown on you, I lose Wi-Fi.” Stream it below.
