Scarface has dropped two new songs ‘Black Still’ and ‘Same Ol Same’ as a surprise. The legendary rapper released his last album Deeply Rooted in 2015 which featured guest appearances from Akon, Nas, Rick Ross, John Legend, Avant and CeeLo Green.
Brother Mob is now re-releasing the project (titled Deeply Rooted: The Lost Files) with some extra songs as well as alternate versions of a few songs found on the original. Tonight, Scarface comes through with two brand new tracks. It’s crazy how sharp he’s still sounding on both of these. On ‘Black Still’, he specifically goes into the current climate in the country, addressing the struggle of Blacks and the frustration building up in the community.
Listen to the solid tunes below and pre-order the re-release here, which drops December 15.
