SZA has been one of the most breakout artists (for the mainstream) this year and she’s looking to finish the year strong with a new video for her amazing song ‘The Weekend’.
The track has been one of the fan favorites ever since her ctrl album impacted earlier this June and serves as the latest single off the set. The TDE songstress keeps it simple in the clip, dancing around in a balcony of a high rise and then taking the same moves onto a parking lot. It’s directed by her good friend Solange. Watch it below.
SZA is nominated for 5 GRAMMY nominations for best new artist, best R&B performance, best rap/sung performance, best R&B song, and best urban contemporary album. She recently released a funky remix of ‘The Weekend’ with Calvin Harris.
