UPDATE 2: The final numbers are in. Cardi B’s debut album managed to sell 254,228 copies first week with 105,130 of those as pure sales! Amazing.
UPDATE: The projections for Cardi’s debut have increased after an incredible week of promo for her. She is now expected to moveĀ 215k–225k copies of the album with 90k–100k of those being pure sales!

The talk of the week musically has pretty much revolved around the big release of Cardi B’s debut album Invasion Of Privacy which hit stores and streaming services last Friday. It’s getting high praise and why not, the album is sounding like a winner. You can stream the LP in its entirety for free here.
The first week sales projections for the album are now out. HDD reports that Cardi is set to move 45k–55k copies of the LP in pure sales but when all streaming numbers come into play, that’s a whopping 170k–200k. This number will ensure that the Bronx rapper debuts at the number 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart. Check back next week for the final numbers.
