Lil Wayne did not turn up for his anticipated performance at the Rolling Loud festival in Miami earlier tonight (May 13). He was supposed to headline the Audiomack stage on third and final day of the event.
Fans were left disappointed when Weezy did not show up despite a long wait. Eventually, a message was flashed on the screen formally announcing that he will not be performing. “Due to unfortunate circumstances, Lil Wayne will not be able to perform tonight. We are truly sorry,” the announcement said.
A heavy downpour did take place so perhaps the incident has something to do with that. Of course, many fans who had come all the way from different parts of the world and those tuned in for the live stream were left disappointed and voiced their concerns on social media.
Flew all the way from Cali to Florida to see try and see Lil Wayne for my first time after years of trying… devastatingly enough he didn’t even show up…. heart broken as fuck but every other second of Rolling Loud was so fuckin perfect, how can I complain.

I can't even begin to express to you my sadness right now. Lil Wayne didn't go on. Waited in the rain for hours. Flew here from Turkey to see Lil Wayne. I've never been to a music festival with such an amazing lineup yet such a horrible experience my heart is broken lmao

Weezy not showing up for his performance is odd since he was seen earlier in the eve with Birdman around the premises. We hope he is keeping good health.
