Nikki Jean, the St. Paul, Minnesota-based singer is best known to us for her amazing contribution to Lupe Fiasco’s The Cool album — most notably the song ‘Hip Hop Saved My Life‘.
Nikki later also contributed to Lupe’s Tetsuo & Youth album in 2015. She has reunited with the Chicaco rapper for her new single ‘Mr. Clean’ which is produced by Jake One. “I’ve met the same man with different faces, many many times… This song is dedicated to him. The one that would leave me f*cked up and crying if I gave him half a chance… And we don’t give him chances no more,” Nikki said about the song.
