UPDATE: The final numbers for the week are in. Baby and Gunna sold 126,402 copies of Drip Harder with 5,665 of those being pure sales, putting them at #4 on the charts.
Previous story:
Lil Baby and Gunna combined forces for their joint album Drip Harder this past Friday, featuring NAV, Young Thug, Drake and more. The anticipation showed online but how are they expected to do on the sales front?
HDD projects that the Atlanta duo’s album will do around 115-125k copies in the first week. Interestingly, only 5-7k out of that is expected to be from pure sales which again shows how strong streaming is for artists like these two. The project will give good competition to the A Star Is Born soundtrack and Twenty One Pilots’ new album Trench for the number 1 spot.
Stay tuned for the updated numbers as we head into next week.
