In this Quarantine time, musicians are trying their best to stay active with creating music but we understand it must not be easy.
Genius journalist-rapper Rob Markman is certainly at the job as he drops another new song today, ‘Good Friday’ with Cantrell and DviousMindz. He tries a different tone in his flow this time. “I seen my pastor in a Benz, boy lemme hold somethin’ / I ain’t gonna tell the whole church you stole from em / I know, I know, I know, you tryna save they soul for ’em / But God damn man that’s a cold foreign,” he raps on the soulful track.
In the hook, Rob says he hasn’t cleared the sample with Kanye for this: “Whoa, I ain’t clear this song either / ‘Ye if this blow, I’ll sort it out when I see ya / We share the same faith and we both praise Jesus / Good Friday in the stu, I’ma tryna drop this thing by Easter.” Listen to it below and in case you missed it, check out the previous release ‘Todt Hill’ here.
