Death Row Records Celebrates 30th Anniversary with First Official Online Store

The legendary Death Row Records is celebrating its 30th anniversary with the launch of its first ever online store.

Music fans are aware that bootleg Death Row merch has always been a hot seller across the world, be it hoodies, T shirts, chains or other collectibles. But now, fans can finally purchase official items from the store starting today, March 30th.

Welcome to Death Row. The official store is now open. Shop everything from the classic line to vinyl, CDs, new threads and more. #deathrowrecords https://t.co/aAMcXporEO pic.twitter.com/WvzQt9kELe

The new store, which you can visit on this link, houses items such as vinyls, CDs & cassettes of iconic albums like Dr. Dre’s The Chronic, Tupac’s All Eyez On Me, Snoop Dogg’s Doggystyle and more. It also has plenty of merch like hoodies, T shirts, hats, tote bags, beanies and bandanas.

Death Row was founded by Dr. Dre and Suge Knight in 1991, pushing gangsta rap into mainstream and changing the course of the music industry. Following the release of historic albums like Dr. Dre’s The Chronic, Tupac’s All Eyez On Me and Snoop’s Doggystyle among others, it was embroiled in controversies involving violence and lawsuits.

Death Row Records filed for bankruptcy in 2006 and was auctioned to WIDEawake Entertainment for $18 million in 2009. The owner of WIDEawake then bankrupted in 2012 and the label was sold to Entertainment One. In 2019, toy company Hasbro acquired eOne for $4 billion and now manages the Death Row catalog.
