YFN Lucci has had a tough last couple of years due to accusations of murder, assault and racketeering against him in 2021 as part of a large indictment aimed toward alleged Blood gang members.
The rapper pleaded guilty to one gang-related charge in Atlanta last month as part of a plea deal reached with prosecutors. The plea deal, reached during jury selection, saw prosecutors drop 12 of 13 charges against him, his lawyers confirmed to media outlets.
The plea deal will allow the rapper to be eligible for parole as soon as four months from now, and prosecutors agreed that he should be released early on parole, which “will allow him to get back to his children, family and career,” his lawyers said.
Today, the rapper releases ‘Free Me’, his first solo song in 4 years which captures the moment pretty well. Listen below.
