Playboi Carti is on one hell of a roll, and the rollout doesn’t stop. After the success of his album, MUSIC, Carti has been teasing the fans with a follow up full length project titled Baby Boi.
But before get there, Carti has made sure he feeds the fans more music from the extended cut of the project. Every few days, the artist comes out with a couple more songs. Now, we have a music video.
Carti just released a music video for the track ‘FOMDJ’ from MUSIC, and it is as extravagant as you’d expect it to be. For the most part, Carti can be seen delivering performance shots on top of a moving car looking sharp in a leather outfit.
The video oscillates between shaky handheld, home style footage to beautiful planned pans and cuts. This combination all in all reduces the perceived complexity of Carti’s futuristic soundscape with a simple and impactful video, and makes him feel more familiar and of the present.
