An entire new generation is coming together as part of the artistic legacies crafted by music icons like Lil Wayne and Ye. In a recent development, the children of the two rappers mentioned came together to make a song that is now out for streaming.
Titled ‘Justswagup,’ the song is attributed to artists Mag!c and Lil Novi (who happens to be Lil Wayne’s son), and is produced by none other than North West, who put up an Instagram story revealing that the beat was made by her.
The track is a buzzy 808 driven, distortion heavy track with some guitars on. Over it, Lil Novi raps with auto-tune on in a new age flow & melodies, coupled with stark adlibs that come out of nowhere but hit hard. Check out the track for yourself!
