Here we have folks. The first week sales estimates based on one-day sales from 70% of the retailers all across the country. I know you’ve been waiting for this.
Rick Ross’ Deeper Than Rap is expected to move around 160,000 copies in the first 7 days. His last effort Trilla sold close to 200,000 copies so that’s a decline from the previous one. Remember all that talk from Ross saying he will surpass 50’s Get Rich Or Die Tryin sales? SMH.
The white boy Asher Roth’s debut CD Asleep In The Bread Aisle is looking in the 80,000 range which is not a bad number for a completely unknown about 4 months back. The disc is led by the hot single ‘I Love College’.
So what are your thoughts? Surprised to see these numbers or this is what you were expecting?
