With his sophomore album, Take Care, less than three weeks away, Drake just keeps on winning. Not only is he featured on the Queen of Rnb’s new single, starring in an NBA 2K12 commercial and celebrating just turning 25, he is also making a name for himself in the record books.
After matching Diddy’s record of ‘Most Rap Number Ones’ earlier this month, he has now matched Akon’s record for the biggest jump for a single by a Male solo artist. ‘Make Me Proud’ featuring Nicki Minaj sky rocketed 88 places up the Billboard Hot 100, going from 97 to 9. Akon achieved the same feat in 2006 when ‘Smack That’ featuring Eminem shot up to 7 from 95. Not bad Drizzy.
