50 Cent covers not one but five different editions of XXL‘s December 2011 / January 2012 issue celebrating the 5 faces of 50 Cent. The special covers are in celebration of the rapper’s 10 years in the game beginning from 50 Cent Is The Future in 2002.

XXL claim that his yet untitled 5th studio album is due in January, 2012. Here’s an excerpt:

“I don’t see what I fell in love with,” he says. “So now I gotta make music that reflects what N.W.A made. I have to make music that has the moments that Nas had. I have to make music that has what Biggie offered.” He also discusses his currently untitled 5th solo album: “For me, I’m still up against what I’ve done,” he says. “So in order to top it, I know it’s a difficult task. You know, I see the bloggers. My audience hasn’t grown with me. They keep saying, “Aw, man, I want the old 50!” ’Cause those people, it would take them on a safari. I was bringing them close enough to the animals, without being able to get hurt. I was taking them into my neighborhood, where you can very well get your ass killed.”

Rest of the covers after the jump.

UPDATE: Jayson Rodriguez who interviewed 50 for the edition says he’s putting out an EP and an album with the former one setting up the latter.

Fuck Lil Wayne, Fuck Rick Ross, Fuck all these gay camps destroying HIP HOP their bubblegum shit. Fitty is still the boss and will always be the boss. The reason why people are hating is becuase he is making way more than their rappers. I am in Africa and have been feeding on his materials since day one, simply because there is substance. For crying out loud, those who talk about street credibility don’t know what time it is..Fitty doesn’t have to go back to the hood and shoot people or pick fights to prove anything. More money to the bank..he is at the top now. Besides, his soldiers can do all that dirty job. people in the hood and just people in general should be inspired by his hustle.
