All doubters move to the side. Kendrick Lamar released his debut album good kid, m.A.A.d city yesterday to much fanfare and great response. But it’s also set to do handsome numbers on the sales side with HDD putting early projections at 200k.

This sill give the Aftermath emcee the number 2 spot on Billboard 200 next week, short of Taylor Swift whose latest LP RED is expected to move in excess of 1 million.

Previously: Album Commerical

UPDATE: Projections have now increased further to 225-240k. He’s really turning it on now.

UPDATE 2: The projections have again been updated today (Sunday) and now placed at 235-245k, just a bit higher from the previous numbers.
