Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ winning run continues as the duo’s breakout single ‘Thrift Shop’ has gone 4x platinum this week, selling 326k copies. It also tops the Hot Digital Songs charts and becomes the first single in history to sell in excess of 300k copies for 8 straight weeks, beating out fun.’s record for ‘We Are Young’. Judging by its current pace, it has a great chance of making it 9.

Another artist to achieve a feat is Justin Timberlake whose comeback single ‘Suit & Tie’ featuring Jay-Z tops the 1 million mark in sales (total 1.1 million). His 3rd album The 20/20 Experience impacts March 19th and according to my estimates, it should hit Gold in its first week itself. He will host and perform on SNL this Saturday, March 9th.

Drake’s ‘Started From The Bottom’ has been rising swiftly on every chart possible and this week, it sells 142k copies to pass the Gold mark. Total copies sold till today: 520k.
