All is not well between Treach and Vin Rock of legendary Rap group Naughty By Nature. Yesterday, Treach took to his Twitter and expressed his gripe towards his partner Vinnie, saying:
Vinnie from NAUGHTY BY NATURE is Officially FIRED!! Anything he does besides shows til Sept is Frugazy!! Fuck him & the Ground he Walks!! Anybody that fucks with that Bitch ass Nigga Don’t Fuck with Me!!
Vin Rock then answered on the official Naughty By Nature Twitter account in the following words:
I’m waking to drama. Spoke to my publicist. Silence is Golden. In the meantime Business 101: You can’t Fire the Owner ;-)
Today, Treach has released a diss record towards Vinnie and revealed some more information behind their feud. According to Treach, they haven’t spoken to each other for years and for now, the group hasn’t officially broken up. But the relationship is strictly business. He tells AllHipHop:
“We never wanted to be the groups that couldn’t resolve our issues,” Treach told AllHipHop.com. “Nobody is larger than the group. We always fit [Vinnie] in even if there wasn’t a spot for [him] to fit in. You will never see Vin do a Naughty show [alone], because he can’t. Me and KG (the groups DJ and hit making producer) can do this for the rest of our lives. I don’t work for nobody.”
