A couple of weeks ago, 50 Cent was interviewed by MTV senior writer Rob Markman for a special “Town Hall” interview at Shade 45 radio station.

They talked about an hour about the concept behind his new album Animal Ambition dropping June 3rd, how fans follow the trend these days, how Jay Z fell back to watch the game a bit when he was at his prime around 2003-2006, feeling like the underdog on ‘Hold On’, why he thought Chief Keef could have been the next 50 Cent in the beginning, moving on to Caroline/Capitol, why Eminem is so dear to him, why he feels most of new music out these days has the same sound, working with Yo Gotti on ‘Don’t Worry Bout It’, why he feels Gotti is the next star from the South, possibility of working with Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo in the near future, inspiration behind ‘Pilot’, best advice he’s got in his life (from author Robert Greene), the popular chopped ‘turn up’ flow these days, having the tendency to over write his albums, his favorite song he wrote (‘Baltimore Love Thing’), having a song with similar concept on Street King Immortal that tops ‘Baltimore Love Thing’, working with Dr. Dre on ‘Smoke’, his chemistry with him, partnering with Feeding America and UN World Food Programme for conscious capitalism, Justin Timberlake being his favorite collaborator, wanting to collaborate with Drake and Rihanna, and much more.

Listen to the full one hour chat below where he also took several fan questions from fan present in the studio.
