The inspiration behind this project is appreciation. Here’s an excerpt for the trailer on why Gipp decided to make a mixtape:
I was taught that doing mixtapes wasn’t the move. But the times have changed since I first did my first deal at LaFace back in the 90’s. Now we in 2014 and I’m still here, still standing. One of the biggest reasons why is my fans. Y’all been rocking with me through everything from ‘Git Up, Git Out And Git Something’ all the way up until now. This mixtape is for y’all.
