Vince Staples is prepping the release of his debut album Summertime ’06 for June 30th. This will be the Long Beach, California native’s first project since the well received Hell Can Wait EP last October.
Today, we’re giving you the first look at the artwork for the album which will be released through Blacksmith/Artium/Def Jam. Looks very unique, just like the video for his first single ‘Senorita’ which you can watch here if you haven’t yet.
UPDATE: Vince has announced the track list for the album. 10 songs but features haven’t been announced.
UPDATE 2: Vince surprises everyone by announcing the track list for disc 2 of the album which obviously means it’s a double album. Now that’s one hell of a bold move in this climate, especially this being his debut.
UPDATE 3: The features are finally revealed and the project will feature the likes of Jhené Aiko, DJ Dahi and more.
