Future’s new self titled album hit stores this past Friday (February 17) with only a few days of notice. This is becoming a norm with A-list artists and superstars these days.
According to HDD, the album is projected to move between 115-140k copies in the first week, with 60-75k out of that attributed to pure sales. This will be enough for a number 1 debut on the Billboard 200 chart. His last studio album EVOL released an year ago did similar numbers (134k) in the opening week.
Future features no guest appearances and production from the likes of Metro Boomin, DJ Spinz, Jake One, Zaytoven, Southside and more. ‘Draco’ serves as the first single from the project, which is being currently pushed on the radio. The album got a big push yesterday with a Spotify-sponsored commercial during the NBA All-Star Game.
